Life and Basketball - CD

Life and Basketball was a series of workshops held in April 2003 at the
Baker Rec Center in Patterson Park. Children and teens from the
neighborhoods surrounding the Park were led by theater professionals and
collaborated to produce spoken word poems and a rap song. The song was
recorded and the CD was released at a performance in May 2003.
Life and Basketball was made possible by a Baltimore Direct Services Grant
managed by Associated Black Charities and funded by The Annie E. Casey
Foundation.
