Sunday, June 11 (rain date June 14) - Sarah Sullivan and the New Old FashionedsWe are kicking off the summer concert series in style with Sarah Sullivan and the New Old Fashioneds! Like old stuff? Or new stuff? Dancing? Swing? They’ve got it all! Formed in 2014, the New Old Fashioneds play traditional jazz and swing designed to have you dance the night away atop Pagoda Hill!

Sunday, June 18 (rain date June 21) - Juanita Ca$h. What would it sound like if Johnny Cash had a daughter raised in Juarez, Mexico on Cash and Cumbia? Juanita Ca$h has come to put her spin on Mr. Cash’s music: Blasphemous, boisterous, psychedelic cumbia versions of Johnny’s classics. There’s no better way to spend this year’s Father’s Day!

Tuesday, June 27 (rain date June 28) - Charm City Junction. Baltimore-based roots group Charm City Junction puts a new spin on old-timey music, carrying the torch of fast-picking bluegrass and toe-tapping Celtic music. Featuring fiddle, clawhammer banjo, the button accordion and upright bass, Charm City Junction creates a fresh soundscape that keeps listeners on the edge of their seats wondering where they'll go next.

Sunday, July 2 (no rain date!) - Special Presentation: Serenade! Festival Concert. Co-produced with Classical Movements, The 2017 Serenade! Washington D.C. Choral Festival is making a very special stop to honor President John F. Kennedy’s 100th birthday! If you didn’t know that JFK landed in Patterson Park by helicopter back in 1962, now you do! In the legacy of peace and global understanding, this concert will feature Shanghai No.3 High School Girls Band from China, Insingizi from Zimbabwe, Pihcintu Refugee Children’s Chorus, and Coro Polifónico de Panama!

Tuesday, July 18 (rain date July 19) - Sean K. Preston & The Loaded Pistols. The music of Sean K. Preston draws heavily on the influences of the classic heartbroken sounds of Country & Western music from the 40’s through the 70’s, the honesty of the Blues by the likes of Robert Johnson and John Lee Hooker, the bombast of 50’s Rock’n’Roll, the lyrical sophistication of musical poets like Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Nick Cave, the raw energy of Punk and the spirituality of Mountain Gospel. Don’t miss his Patterson Park debut!

Sunday, July 30 (rain date August 2) - Joe Keyes and the Late Bloomer Band. Joe Keyes is equal parts front man, poet and band conductor. The Freehold, NJ native found his orchestra in late 2009 in The Late Bloomer Band, a concoction of Baltimore-area musicians. The band takes audiences back to the days of Miles Davis and early P-Funk, when big bands were lead by strong forces of individuals. The band’s brand of live improvisation and musical sophistication presents a different experience at every show.

Sunday, August 13 (rain date August 16) - The Bellevederes The Bellevederes give their audience a show filled with music that’s funky, soulful, and a whole lot of fun! Playing mostly older funk and soul tunes, they pride themselves on getting fans up and dancing to their energetic rhythms. Back by popular demand, don’t miss them on Pagoda Hill for what is sure to be an unforgettable send-off to our summer concert series!
