Patterson Park Audubon Center (PPAC) is part of Audubon MD/DC and has been actively involved in the community since 2002, providing a variety of nature-based programs for participants of all ages.

Students from Patterson Park Public Charter School help create great new habitat in the Park by planting native plants in Audubon’s wetland garden.

Audubon centers are special places in a community that connect people with nature, focusing on the community around the center by providing numerous interactions with the center throughout an individual’s lifetime. Audubon and Friends of Patterson Park collaborate on stewardship and education activities in the park. Audubon programs include Audubon Nature Explorers, free monthly bird walks, Tiny Tot programs, Family Programs, and Ladies’ Nights.
