Concert Schedule 2016

Sunday 6/12 :  Caleb Stine & The Golden Eagles

The Baltimore Sun calls Caleb Stine the “lynchpin of the Baltimore folk scene” and, just like Baltimore, Stine keeps his music honest, hardworking, genuine and unafraid to tell it like it is. Don’t miss Caleb Stine & The Golden Eagles as they kick off what will be an unforgettable summer concert season!

Wednesday (using rain date) 6/29:   Joe Falero & the DC Latin Jazz All Stars

Sunday 7/10 (rain date Wed 7/13):     Fractal Cat

Inspired by early rock ‘n’ roll, classic soul and psychedelia, Fractal Cat’s track “Tryptide” was named by WTMD’s Sam Sessa as one of the top Baltimore songs of 2014. With musical influences including Buddy Holly, early Pink Floyd and John Coltrane, Fractal Cat is sure to entertain. Whether or not you caught them performing at Baltimore’s Light City, you won’t want to miss their debut performance in Patterson Park!

Tuesday 7/19 (rain date Wed 7/20):   Balti Mare

Balti Mare is a 7-piece Eastern European/ Balkan Gypsy band consisting of self-proclaimed natives of Balti Mare, Transylvania. Performing upbeat dance and party music, these former chicken and goat herders from the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains now perform both original & traditional gypsy folk music in several languages including: English, Romanian, Roma (gypsy), Slovak, Macedonian, and Serbian. Come out for what is sure to be a dance party extravaganza.

Sunday 7/31 (rain date Wed 8/3):       Strykers Posse

Jamaican-born Ichelle Cole and Yvonne Deane-Hibbert are known to many as the East Coast “Queens of Reggae” and have shared the stage with the likes of the Wailers and Toots and the Maytals. Their energetic performances and original songwriting attract audiences from near and far – Don’t miss this evening of dancehall and roots-and-culture reggae!

Tuesday 8/9 (rain date Wed 8/10):    Bumper Jacksons

Like an old-time barn dance in downtown New Orleans, the Bumper Jacksons pull together a vast array of early American traditions into a deliciously cohesive sound that strikes you right in the heart.  Named the Mid-Atlantic’s “Artist of the Year” and “Best Folk Band” for 2015 by the Washington Area Music Awards, the Bumper Jacksons are on a roll, bringing their party across the nation and internationally.

Sunday 8/21 (rain date Wed 8/24):     Cara Kelly & the Tell Tale

Cara Kelly & the Tell Tale’s soulful, rootsy, rock and roll crosses genre lines with sophisticated song writing, soaring harmonies and dynamic musicianship. Combining vocals, guitars, mandolin, upright bass and drums, they craft a sound that is wholly their own and captivate audiences with their energetic live performances. What a way to send off a fantastic summer concert series!
