Urban Bird Walk- Saturday March 28, 8:00am. The Patterson Park Audubon Center hosts their monthly birdwalks. Meet at the Marble Fountain near Lombard & Patterson Park Ave. For more info email or visit

Fishing Rodeo- Saturday, March 28th, 10am-1pm, east side of the lake. FREE! Bring the kids to your favorite fishing hole in Patterson Park. Rec and Parks runs this event for kids.

Tiny Tot Program Saturday, March 28th, 10:30-11:30 AM. A Bug’s World- Meet at the picnic tables on the northeastern shore of the Boat Lake. Ages: 2-5. $5 suggested donation per child, with an adult. Tiny Tots is an early childhood environmental education program where kids make a craft, play a game, and read a story around a nature theme. Pagoda Opening– Sunday April 19th, noon: The Pagoda will be open and free to the public on Sundays through October 12th.

Día del NiñoApril 25th (rain date Apr 26). 11am – 2pm. Pagoda Hill.  Free. Family event for kids of all ages. There will be games, crafts, face painting, pinatas and a musical performance sponsored by Creative Alliance. Don’t miss the fun!
