Utz Stadium
In 1970, a new football field was built in Patterson Park and dedicated as Utz Field after Utz Twardowicz, Director of the Highlandtown Red Shield Boys Club from 1948 to 1969.

The stadium was renovated in 1999 with a $100,000 grant from the National Football League. Utz Twardowicz Stadium is located just south of the Skating Rink near Linwood Ave. Because of the stadium lighting and seating, it’s a well-used venue for soccer, lacrosse and football tournaments.
