Run for the Park on Earth Day!
Join us in beautiful Patterson Park for a feel-good, do-good morning at our Earth Day 5K, 1-Mile Fun Run and Kids’ Dash! Whether you’re racing for a PR, jogging in costume as your favorite park animal or participating virtually, this event is about celebrating and caring for this amazing city park that brings so much joy to the community, Baltimore and countless visitors.
The timed 5K kicks off at 8:30 AM with Road and Trail Events handling chip timing, followed by our family-friendly 1-mile fun run and a special Kids’ Dash for kids under 5 (all participants must register). Stick around after the finish line for breakfast, music - and, if you’re feeling like making even more of a difference - hands-on volunteer activities! Mulching, tree planting, gardening and Observatory and park trash cleanup are on tap from 10 am-12 pm (schedule and map to be released closer to event).
Every step you take (and dollar raised!) supports Friends of Patterson Park’s stewardship programs that keep this historic green space thriving. Our goal is $25,000 this year to support our care of the park…let’s race to get there!
When registering, you can choose to donate a little extra, or create a personal or team fundraiser to help us get to the finish line!
