We’re so grateful to everyone who came out to support the Friends of Patterson Park on May 21st for the 20th annual Wine at Sunset fundraiser! This event is one of our two yearly fundraisers, alongside Brewfest in November, where all proceeds go towards the work the Friends of Patterson Park does every day to protect, promote, and provide free community programs, events, and stewardship in one of Baltimore’s most beloved gathering spaces.

We shared the evening with some much-needed rain, but that didn’t stop us from an evening of community, wine tastings, bites from local Baltimore restaurants, and a lively tasting stage where we were able to sip, learn, and discover standout wines and spirits. In addition to the several tents we have included in the event for the last couple of years, we were able to utilize the Cedar House to expand the footprint and add even more cover from the rain! We had an amazing time sampling some amazing wines and small plates from our many partners, enjoying music by favorites Rob Fahey and David Bell, and in general had a great time hanging out in the park!

Very special thanks to our generous hosts Danny and Michele Barnycz, our Bubbly Sponsor - Wideroots LLC, our Vintage Sponsor - GAF, and our Wine Patrons - Gordon Feinblatt, LLC, Charmed Kitchen, Activate Body, Merritt Clubs, and Vivian’s. Thanks to our partners who are great friends of the park: Our beverage partners - Off the Rox, Old Line Spirits, Cane Collective, Josh Cellars, Treasury Wine Estates, Rosie Cheeks Distilling, Jimmy Juice, and Oliver Brewing Co; and our small plate partners - DiPasquale’s, Pierpoint, Water for Chocolate, El Taquito Mexicano, Abbey Burger, Patterson Public House, Samos Restaurant, and Vivian’s. And finally, we’re so grateful to the many volunteers who helped clean the event site, set up, take tickets, pour wine and more.
