Mueveton + BabyFest kicked off last Saturday with a kids dash, continued with a 5K run through Patterson Park, and wrapped up with a family-friendly health and fitness expo. Patterson Park neighbors enjoyed Zumba, yoga, hula hoops, kids’ tennis, food from Leftover Love, a clothing swap, smoothie bicycles, and infant resources! 146 runners finished the race! This annual event brings health, fitness, and fun to Patterson Park, free of charge, every year.
Our sincere thanks to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute, Bmore for Healthy Babies, Baltimore Medical System, Centro SOL, Leftover Love, Savemart, Somos Baltimore Latino, USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation, Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, and Baltimore City Department of Public Works for helping the Friends of Patterson Park host this event free of charge!
Lastly, we want to thank all of the kids, adults, babies in strollers, and dogs who came out for a fun-filled morning in the park. We can’t wait to see everyone for next year’s Mueveton + BabyFest!
